**Job Title: Door & Hardware Installer (Carpenter)**
**Job Description**
This role focuses on installing commercial doors, frames, and hardware on active construction sites across Saskatchewan and Western Canada.

You will apply your carpentry experience to support large-scale commercial new construction projects, working closely with site supervisors, project managers, and other trades.

The position offers the opportunity to deepen your expertise in the commercial door and hardware industry while contributing to high-quality, safety-focused installations.

Travel, overtime, and occasional weekend work may be required based on project demands.
**Responsibilities**
Install commercial doors, frames, and hardware in accordance with project specifications, manufacturer requirements, and site standards.

Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and detailed installation plans to execute accurate and efficient installations.

Ensure all installations meet established quality benchmarks and comply with relevant safety regulations and site protocols.

Collaborate with site supervisors, project managers, and other trades to maintain project schedules and support coordinated site activities.

Troubleshoot installation issues, identify root causes, and perform adjustments or repairs to achieve proper fit and function.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, following housekeeping and safety practices at all times.

Travel to project sites throughout Saskatchewan and Western Canada as required to support multiple construction projects.

Safely operate power tools and installation equipment, including drills, saws, and other carpentry tools, in accordance with safety guidelines.

Provide direction and oversight to small teams of up to five workers when required to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely.

Use basic hand tools and appropriate personal protective equipment to perform daily tasks on construction sites.
**Essential Skills**
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a carpenter, preferably in commercial or construction environments.

Proven experience overseeing and coordinating the work of up to five people on site.

Ability and willingness to work out of town on remote or multi-site projects when required.

Comfort with working overtime and weekends as needed to meet project timelines.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving abstract suitable for travel between job sites.

Proficiency in using basic hand tools for carpentry and installation tasks.

Ability to safely operate power tools and installation equipment in a construction environment.

Capability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and installation details accurately.

Strong commitment to maintaining safety standards and following site-specific safety procedures.

Reliable 6" steel-toe work boots suitable for use on construction sites.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
Experience installing commercial doors and hardware is an asset.

Training or certification in Aerial Work Platforms (AWP) is considered an advantage.





Fall protection (Fall Pro) training or certification is preferred.
ADO experience related to door and hardware installation is beneficial.

Basic welding experience is an asset for certain installation or repair tasks.

Ability to travel throughout Western Canada for project work when required.

This is a Contract position based out of Regina, SK.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
