Youth applicants are strongly encouraged to apply, and qualified youth will be prioritized in the hiring process. Applicants must have at least one year of experience caring for infants or toddlers. One parent plans to return to full-time work in October 2026, while the other has a hospital-based surgical practice involving 24-hour emergency call and night and weekend work. The position therefore requires reliable, developmentally appropriate in-home care and reasonable scheduling flexibility.Child Caregiver – Private HomeSalary: $21.00 per hour, 35 hours per week ( may require up to 40 hours / week)Terms of employment: Permanent, full-timeSchedule: Early mornings, mornings, days, evenings, nights, weekends, and flexible hours; schedule to be determinedStart date: As early as October 1, 2026Benefits: Health perks and other benefitsPrivate health insurance will be provided until the caregiver becomes eligible for OHIP, along with three paid sick days.
