The Fleet Account Manager is responsible for developing and managing strategic relationships with key fleet customers. Our promise is to keep delivering the same award-winning service and value that our community has come to expect from our dealership group throughout the years.Extended Health & Dental BenefitsPremiums Paid by EmployerPaid TrainingLong term job securityEmployee AssistanceProgramResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain strong relationships with fleet decision-makers across key and conquest accountsIdentify and pursue new business opportunities within targeted fleet segmentsCreate and execute strategic account plans to drive customer growth and market shareMaintain accurate customer records, opportunities, and account plans within the CRM platformPresent the value proposition of Peterbilt to prospective and existing customersUnderstand customer business objectives and proactively address operational challenges and pain pointsProvide guidance on emissions regulations, economic market conditions, and OEM production capacityDevelop customized transportation solutions that align with customer needs and business goalsLead pricing negotiations with customers and OEM channel partners to achieve mutually beneficial outcomesPrepare professional sales proposals, quotations,
and RFP submissions for fleet procurement opportunitiesBuild vehicle specifications and coordinate requirements between customers, manufacturers, engineers, and body buildersManage chassis orders and vehicle upfit projects from factory order through final customer deliveryEnsure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in accordance with customer expectationsBuild and leverage strategic relationships with OEM representatives, body builders, and external business partnersRepresent the company at industry events, trade shows, customer meetings, and networking functionsHost and engage customers through business development activitiesOther duties and projects as assignedQualifications5+ years of experience in commercial truck, transportation, and/or heavy-duty equipment sectorsPost Secondary degree in Business or a related field is an assetExperience working with Salesforce or other CRM platformsValid driver's license with a clean driver's abstractAbility to travel often as a mandatory part of the positionExceptional verbal and written communication skillsStrong presentation skills with the ability to confidently lead meetings, boardroom presentations, and virtual discussionsAbility to grow fleet sales into recent and existing marketsProficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, and other business productivity toolsStrong negotiation, problem-solving, and relationship-building abilitiesFinancially literate with a solid understanding of accounting and business fundamentalsForward-thinking mindset with familiarity and proficiency in AI tools and technology considered an assetHigh level of customer service. Thorough knowledge of customer service dynamics and processesStrong personal organizational skills as they relate to workload, time management and setting priorities in an unsupervised environmentCompensation Rate$80,000 - $110,000per year+ commissionSalarywill be determined based on previous experience, relevant certifications and skill level
