0.4 FTE Indigenous Support Teacher (Tuesday & Thursday)

Temporary: Immediately – December 18, 2026, or full return of the incumbent

NOTE: This assignment may end prior to the end date, or it may be extended.

Qualifications

- BC Certification
- Bachelor of Education or equivalent
- Experience with a variety of learning management systems
- Demonstrated ability to use a variety of teaching and assessment strategies
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team workplace
- Demonstrated ability to support classroom teachers with the embedding of Indigenous knowledge and perspectives in student learning experiences for all students
- Demonstrated ability to implement programs and services to assist with academic, personal, and social-emotional needs
- Demonstrated ability to connect with families to build effective communication between home,



school, and community supports
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and classroom management skills
