THIS IS A STRAIGHT DAYS POSITION, MONDAY - FRIDAY 8AM-4:30PM

We are seeking a skilled and energetic 310T Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of heavy equipment and industrial machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help keep our operations running smoothly, supporting various types of heavy machinery including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm equipment.

Responsibilities

- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on heavy equipment such as transport trucks, mostly Freightliners and Volvo's
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools
- Conduct electrical repairs and diagnostics on industrial equipment to ensure safety and compliance
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized tools to complete repairs efficiently
- Operate trucks for testing or assembly purposes while adhering to safety protocols




- Read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams to accurately diagnose problems
- Maintain detailed service records and documentation for all maintenance activities
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and industry regulations
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair status clearly and professionally
- You will be working on both trucks and trailers

Experience

- Must be a licensed 310T mechanic with experience working on transport trucks and 53' trailers
- Strong electrical knowledge combined with mechanical skills for troubleshooting truck systems
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals accurately
- Experience operating heavy equipment is a plus for understanding operational requirements during repairs
- Skilled in welding, fabrication, or metalworking techniques is desirable
- Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving

Must have reliable transportation to the shop and a solid work ethic. Good attendance is required as this is a busy shop.

Pay: $36.00-$42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
