Role Description The 310T Mechanic role at Alpha Oil Inc. is a full time, on-site position based in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. The mechanic is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing company trucks and heavy equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation for daily fuel delivery and service routes. Day-to-day tasks include performing scheduled and preventive maintenance, completing repairs on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, and conducting thorough troubleshooting of vehicle issues.

The role involves maintaining accurate service records,



coordinating with dispatch and operations on vehicle availability, and adhering to all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. The 310T Mechanic collaborates with other team members to minimize downtime, support efficient fleet operations, and uphold Alpha Oil’s high service standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance skills for commercial trucks and related equipment.
- Candidates should possess Maintenance & Repair abilities, including diagnosing and fixing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Candidates should possess experience working with Heavy Equipment related to fuel delivery and construction support operations.
- Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting skills to identify root causes of vehicle and equipment malfunctions.
- Valid 310T Truck and Coach Technician license (or equivalent) and familiarity with Ontario transportation and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, hand and power tools, and basic computer skills for maintenance software and record-keeping.
- Strong attention to detail, safety-oriented mindset, and ability to work independently as well as within a team.
- Previous experience in fleet maintenance, fuel or transportation industry, and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is an asset.
