Position Summary

GLD Projects is looking for an Accounting Analyst to take ownership of our day-to-day accounting activities and help ensure our financial records are accurate, current, and organized.

This is more than a traditional accounting role. We look for people with high capacity, robust character, a competitive mindset, and the ability to contribute meaningfully to the team.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date QuickBooks Online records.
- Complete monthly bank, credit card, loan, and LOC reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing, payments, and collections.
- Verify payments and ensure transactions have appropriate supporting documentation.
- Coordinate statements, receipts, and financial information with our external bookkeeper and accountant.
- Track GST, payroll taxes, corporate taxes, loans, and company assets.
- Assist with payroll administration and employee expense claims.
- Monitor cash balances, upcoming payables, and receivables and assist with cash-flow forecasting.
- Support year-end accounting and identify opportunities to improve financial processes.

- 2–5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
- Strong QuickBooks Online experience.
- Experience with AP, AR, and reconciliations.

- QBO is consistently current and accurate.
- Monthly reconciliations are completed on time.
- AP, AR, and collections are properly managed.
- Financial documentation is organized and readily available.
- Management has clear visibility into cash flow and upcoming obligations.
- You become a trusted member of the GLD team who can take ownership, solve problems, and represent the company professionally.

Pay: $27.50-$32.50 per hour
