Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated After School Program Staff to join our team. The role involves supporting educational programs and activities for students in a school or community centre setting.

Training will be provided.

Ideal Candidate:

- Post-secondary students

- Recently retired teachers
- Current or former substitute teachers
- Those with experience from another similar / customer service job

Duties

- Lead STEM/Math/Arts educational programs for students
- Provide tutoring and educational support to children
- Supervise and engage with students during program activities
- Assist in maintaining a safe and organized learning setting
- Coding programs may be involved, no coding experience necessary

-Be friendly, energetic and able to manage multiple participants

Experience

- Previous experience in working with children / youth




- Experience working with children in an educational setting is beneficial
- Ability to tutor and educate students effectively

Ratio Leading between 6 - 20 students, ages 5 - 13 years old

Schedule

Ranges from anytime between 2:00 pm - 4:15 pm

1-2 days/week

2-4 hours / week

6-8 sessions

Please note, this position is seasonal.

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $18.25-$18.50 per hour
