Job Title : AI Cyber Defense Consultant

Location : (Toronto ) 3 to 4 Days week

Operational Responsibilities:

- Analyze and understand business and technical requirements to support internal and partner teams and the business to stand up end-to-end AI solutions within the bank.
- Work closely with various technology/project teams to understand business' AI needs and provide analysis and requirements to ensure the product/solution design / development initiatives are in line with the planned design and standards.
- Collaborate with technology and business partners to resolve issues and ensure requirements and established SLAs, while adhering to enterprise frameworks or methodologies pertaining to AI lifecycle, enhancement, risk, and governance.
- Ensure business operations follow applicable internal and external requirements (e.g. financial controls, segregation of duties, transaction approvals and physical control of assets).
- Participate in cross-functional / enterprise / initiatives as a subject matter expert helping to identify risk / provide guidance for complex situations.
- Conduct meaningful analysis at the functional or enterprise level using results to draw conclusions, make recommendations, assess the effectiveness of programs/ policies/ practices.
- Keep abreast of emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements and assess potential impacts.
- Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite.
- Maintain clear documentation of readiness and operational workflows, SOPs, target operating and interaction models,



and ongoing business/technology dependencies for scale and handover.
- Support the AI Defence Leadership team in providing high-level and detailed updates across organizational levels, maintain a feedback loop for proactive plan adaptation, and maintain transparence through clear reporting and issues' escalation.

Team and Stakeholders' Responsibilities:

- Participate fully as a member of the team, support a positive work setting that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues/points of interest.
- Provide industry knowledge for own area of expertise and participate in knowledge transfer within the team, business unit, and/or cross-functional groups or committees (e.g., AI Governance, AI Vulnerability Management).
- Keep current on emerging trends/ developments and grow knowledge of the business, related tools and techniques.
- Participate in personal performance management and development activities, including cross training within own team.
- Keep others informed and up to date about the status / progress of projects and / or all relevant or useful information related to day-to-day activities.
- Contribute to team development of skills and capabilities through mentorship of others, by sharing knowledge and experiences and leveraging best practices.
- Lead,



motivate and develop relationships with internal and external business partners / stakeholders to develop productive working relationships.
- Contribute to a fair, positive and equitable environment that supports a diverse workforce.
- Act as a brand ambassador for your business area/function and the bank, both internally and/or externally.

Reporting Responsibilities:

- Translate program data into actionable insights, managing productivity and performance dashboards to ensure accurate, timely, and impactful reporting.
- Participate in AI app security incident responses relevant to business (or enterprise wide) and represent respective function and Enterprise position to the business, and business needs to incident response team.
- Provide input on AI security-related Regulatory compliance requirements, reporting, and questions.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent vocational experience, demonstrating rigorous analytical and quantitative focus.
- Deep understanding of complex technology delivery life cycles and cross-functional coordination across Product, Engineering, and downstream Operations.
- High degree of comfort working in an unstructured environment.
- Highly motivated self-starter who takes ownership of responsibilities and demonstrates leadership qualities in driving initiatives and achieving results.
- Highly effective communicator—concise, clear, and adapted to various audiences.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Jira, Confluence.
- Building business risk reports and dashboards via Power BI or Tableau.
