Job Summary:

The Rental Technician helps deliver a fun, friendly, and hassle-free rental experience for Mount Washington guests.

The role includes fitting guests with the right ski and snowboard equipment, using the Axess rental system, explaining safe equipment use, processing rentals, and keeping equipment and work areas in top shape.

The ideal candidate is approachable, knowledgeable, and efficient, with a passion for great guest service and the ability to thrive in a busy resort workplace.

Role Responsibilities

- Greet and assist guests while providing friendly, professional service throughout their rental experience.
- Measure, size, and fit guests with appropriate ski and snowboard equipment based on size, ability, and intended use.




- Explain the secure and proper use of rental equipment and respond to guest questions or concerns.
- Operate the Axess rental system to accurately check equipment in and out and maintain rental records.
- Ensure equipment is properly scanned and tracked through rental, service, and return processes.
- Identify and report equipment damage, safety concerns, maintenance needs, or system discrepancies.
- Inspect returned equipment and assist with basic maintenance and repairs, including waxing, edge sharpening, and boot repairs.
- Maintain clean, organized, safe, and guest-ready rental areas and properly store equipment.
- Work cooperatively with the Rental team and other Resort departments, assisting with operational duties as required.
- Follow all Resort policies, procedures, safety standards, and equipment-handling requirements while maintaining a professional appearance and conduct.

- Previous ski/snowboard, rental, retail, equipment service, POS, or Axess experience is an asset.
