Part-Time Kennel Assistant

Pay: $18.50/hour

Schedule: Sundays: 3:00 PM - 6:30 PM (with opportunities for additional shifts)

Gracie’s Kennels is looking for a reliable, dog-loving Part time Kennel Assistant to join our team! This flexible role is ideal for high school or college students, or anyone looking to earn extra income on weekends.

What You’ll Be Doing:

- Providing high-quality care, exercise, and companionship to our daycare/boarding dogs
- Handling feeding, watering, and maintaining routines
- Keeping the facility clean (cleaning and disinfecting runs, doing laundry, and washing dishes)
- Greeting clients, checking boarding dogs in and out, and processing payments
- Working independently to keep operations running smoothly

What We’re Looking For:

- Dog Lover:



Must be comfortable working with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments.
- All-Weather Ready: Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and not afraid to get a little dirty or muddy!
- Dependable & Independent: Able to stay on task and complete daily duties without direct supervision.
- Customer Service Minded: Friendly, professional, and confident handling client interactions and payments.
- Experience: Previous experience in pet care is a plus, but not required- we’re happy to train the right person!
