We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative student for an internship position. As a Mechanical, Biomedical or Manufacturing Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with experts at CIM-TAC on various projects aimed at pushing the boundaries of innovation in technology and product design, particularly within the Para sport innovation landscape.
Position Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, analysis, and optimization of mechanical components and systems for manufacturing processes.
- Support the development and testing of prototypes through hands-on work in the lab and workshop.
- Conduct research and gather data to support engineering analysis and decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve engineering challenges and develop innovative solutions.
- Actively participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities.

Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in Bachelor of Science in Engineering program specializing in Mechanical, Biomedical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and fundamentals.
- Basic or intermediate knowledge in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Passion for innovation and eagerness to learn about emerging technologies in manufacturing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous participation in research projects, applied research initiatives, hackathons, engineering competitions, or industry-sponsored projects.
Benefits and Compensation Information An additional 15% of the hourly rate in lieu of vacation, statutory holidays and benefits.
