Job Summary

S3 Technical manufactures custom aluminum and stainless-steel cladding products. We are looking for an Assembly Shop Technician to join our manufacturing team. This role suits someone with hands-on labour experience who works safely, pays attention to detail, and enjoys building high-quality products.

Assembly Shop Technician Duties

Metal Forming Duties

- Measure and mark aluminum and stainless-steel sheets according to work orders and drawings.
- Set up and operate metal forming equipment, including brakes, rollers, flangers, and hemming machines, after receiving the required training and authorization.
- Bend, roll, flange, and hem sheet metal to the required dimensions and shapes.
- Check formed parts with calipers, measuring tapes, and other tools to confirm they meet specifications.
- Inspect parts for defects and report or correct issues as directed.
- Handle sheet metal safely to prevent cuts, strain, and material damage.
- Prepare formed components for assembly and assist with loading finished products.
- Load and secure finished products, then deliver them to customers using the company truck, following company procedures and road safety requirements.




- Keep equipment and work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.

Required Qualifications

- Previous hands-on experience in general labour, manufacturing, metal forming, assembly, construction, or a related field.
- Ability to follow work orders and instructions and use hand tools safely.
- Solid attention to detail and a willingness to learn new equipment and processes.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with team members.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- A valid Class 5 driver’s licence and the ability to drive the company truck for customer deliveries.
- Reliable transportation to the facility.

Experience in shipping and receiving, manufacturing, sheet metal work, or insulation is considered an asset. Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
