Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Assistant Manager - Operations to join our retail management team. In this vital role, you will oversee daily store operations, ensure excellent customer service, and lead a team to achieve sales and operational goals. Duties

- Assist in managing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory control.
- Lead, supervise, and motivate team members to deliver exceptional customer service and meet sales targets.
- Coordinate recruiting efforts, participate in interviewing candidates, and oversee onboarding and training processes to develop a high-performing team.s.
- Manage payroll processing, budgeting, and bookkeeping tasks to ensure financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for sales transactions, inventory tracking, and reporting purposes.
- Implement marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns to attract customers and increase store traffic.




- Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations, and store standards through effective supervision and communication skills.

Qualifications

- Proven supervising or leadership experience in hospitality management or related fields.
- Strong negotiation skills combined with excellent communication abilities in bilingual or multilingual settings.
- Experience in recruiting, training & development, and team management.
- Knowledge of retail sales processes including cashiering, pricing, purchasing, and merchandising.
- Proficiency with POS systems, payroll software, bookkeeping practices, and administrative tasks.
- Demonstrated ability in budgeting, sales management, marketing strategies, and customer service excellence.
- Exceptional organizational skills with effective time management capabilities.
- Basic math skills along with phone etiquette proficiency for skilled communication.
