As we grow, we are looking for an Associate Accountant to join our team. We’re looking for people who want to develop their accounting career quickly while taking on meaningful client-facing work and problem-solving responsibilities.

The Role In this role, you will:

- Review financial statements, workpapers, and leadsheets for accuracy and clarity
- Collaborate with senior accountants and managers to solve client issues and optimize processes
- Participate in client meetings, explaining financial statements and reports in a clear,



actionable way
- Support team leads in developing and maintaining internal processes, documentation, and performance standards
- Perform core accounting tasks including reconciliations, bookkeeping, and transaction processing across systems like QuickBooks Online, Xero, and NetSuite

Requirements

Education & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA or actively pursuing CPA designation

Experience

- 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in public accounting
- Solid understanding of IFRS, ASPE, and/or US GAAP
- Exposure to bookkeeping, reconciliations,



and financial reporting
- Experience in client-facing roles or cross-functional collaboration is a plus

Skills & Competencies

- Strong accounting and analytical skills
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite, or similar)
- Clear, skilled communication skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities

Core Accounting & Bookkeeping

- Prepare journals, leadsheets, and workpapers for manager review
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing tasks
- Process transactions, reconcile accounts, and maintain accurate financial records

Review & Advisory Support

- Review financial statements and leadsheets for accuracy and completeness
- Identify issues and collaborate with managers to solve client accounting problems
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and documentation

Client Interaction & Liaison

- Walk clients through financial statements, reports, and recommendations
- Provide clients with actionable information to help them run their businesses
- Support managers in client communications and advisory tasks
- Build trust and credibility with clients through professional, clear communication
