About the Role

We are looking for a licensed Financial Planner to join an established wealth management practice in Calgary. This is an employee position offering a base salary of $80,000 per year, plus commission-based bonus opportunities.

The successful candidate will work alongside a senior Wealth Advisor and established support team, serving existing clients while developing recent client relationships. This role is designed for an advisor who wants to build their career within an established practice while gaining access to experienced mentorship, planning resources, and in-house specialists.

Existing client relationships are welcomed and can be integrated into the practice.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
- Deliver comprehensive planning by leveraging in-house expertise across tax, estate, and investment strategies
- Identify opportunities to increase client engagement, retention, and revenue per household
- Collaborate to enhance client outcomes and operational efficiency
- Maintain regulatory and documentation standards
- Work with high-net-worth clients and handle complex planning scenarios than typically accessible in a solo practice

Qualifications

- Licensed Financial Planner (MFDA or IIROC)



in good standing
- 2+ years of client-facing experience in wealth management or financial planning
- Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships (existing book preferred)
- Strong interest in comprehensive planning beyond investments (tax, estate, retirement)
- Entrepreneurial mindset focused on growing revenue and client depth

Compensation

- Base salary: $80,000 per year
- Additional bonus opportunities based on performance and applicable compensation structures
- Permanent, full-time employment
