This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Associate Forward-Deployed Product Manager based in Canada.

This role is focused on the successful day-to-day delivery of live client implementations for a developer-first ERP platform.

You’ll serve as a key client contact, keeping projects organized, progressing, and aligned with agreed expectations.

Working closely with product, engineering, account management, and senior product leadership, you’ll turn requirements into coordinated execution.

You’ll analyze client data, manage testing, resolve blockers, and prepare teams for successful go-lives.

The role combines customer-facing communication, project execution, product thinking, and technical problem-solving.

You’ll also turn client feedback and implementation insights into valuable input for the broader product roadmap.

Designed as a growth opportunity, the position can progress toward a Senior Forward-Deployed Product Manager role based on performance.

Accountabilities

- Manage day-to-day client communications, responding to questions, coordinating requests, escalating issues, and keeping stakeholders informed and unblocked.

- Own the execution rhythm of client projects, coordinating with internal development teams and maintaining accurate project status, documentation, and release information.

- Use project management tools such as GitHub Projects and Jira to track deliverables, dependencies, blockers, and timelines.

- Analyze client data to identify gaps, discrepancies, risks, and requirements that may affect implementation outcomes.

- Support senior product and engineering stakeholders with functional gap analysis and solution architecture discussions.

- Validate releases before they reach clients and coordinate client-side testing, feedback, and sign-off.

- Own go-live readiness by ensuring outstanding issues, dependencies, documentation, and client requirements are addressed before launch.





- Develop training materials and deliver client training to help teams operate the platform confidently and independently.

- Build deep knowledge of the platform and translate recurring customer needs, feedback, and implementation insights into actionable product opportunities.

- Collaborate closely with Account Management and senior product leadership, maintaining clear ownership of implementation execution while supporting the broader client relationship.

Requirements

- 2–5 years of experience in product management within a technology company, startup, or comparable environment; management consulting experience is strongly preferred.

- Demonstrated customer-facing experience with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Strong analytical and structured-thinking skills, with the ability to break down ambiguous problems and develop practical solutions.

- An ownership-oriented approach and willingness to engage deeply with operational, technical, and implementation details.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly when coordinating multiple stakeholders and communicating project status.

- Comfort working with data analysis tools and AI-driven workflows to improve productivity, analysis, and decision-making.

- Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and maintain momentum across multiple project dependencies.

- Curiosity and a strong willingness to learn, particularly in complex operational and enterprise software environments.

- Experience building side projects or experimenting with AI-assisted development is a plus.

- Exposure to ecommerce or physical-product operations, including order management, inventory, purchasing, fulfillment, or accounting workflows, is advantageous.





- Familiarity with ERP, 3PL, commerce platforms, or customer software implementations is a plus.

- Previous experience onboarding customers onto software products is an advantage.
