Position Overview

We are seeking an Associate Lawyer with a minimum of five years of experience in General Litigation. The successful candidate will manage their own files, provide strategic legal advice, represent clients in court proceedings, and contribute to the continued growth of the firm's practice.

Responsibilities

- Manage a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters.
- Conduct client consultations and provide legal advice and representation.
- Draft pleadings, affidavits, applications, agreements, legal opinions, and other legal documents.
- Appear before the Provincial Court and Supreme Court of British Columbia.
- Attend mediations, settlement conferences, and negotiations.
- Develop litigation strategies and advocate effectively on behalf of clients.




- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Contribute to the growth and success of the firm's practice.

Qualifications

- J.D. or LL.B. from an accredited law school.
- Member in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in General Litigation.
- Strong advocacy, negotiation, legal research, and drafting skills.
- Proven ability to independently manage files and maintain a busy caseload.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to professionalism and exceptional client service.

- Established book of business and existing client base.
- Experience handling complex litigation matters.
- Strong business development and client relationship management skills.
