Compensation & Schedule

- Pay Rate: Starting at $20.00 per hour, based on experience.
- Incentives: High potential for significant gratuities based on service quality. Additional performance-based bonus incentives are available.
- Schedule: Full-time and Part time positions available.
- Staff Meals: To ensure our team is energized, we provide complimentary meals for both lunch and dinner shifts.
- The shop operates 7 days a week.
- Must be available for weekday and weekend shifts.
- Standard shifts are typically 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM, with potential for increased hours based on demand.

The Detailing Technician at ACE Car Spa is responsible for delivering premium, high-quality automotive care while maintaining the luxury standards expected at the Shangri-La Toronto. You will be handling high-value vehicles and engaging with a discerning clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

- Complete Detailing: Provide expert washing, vacuuming, and full interior/exterior detailing.
- Advanced Services: Perform paint decontamination and specialty treatments.
- Quality Control: Maintain the "ACE Car Spa Standard" on every vehicle, ensuring no detail is overlooked.
- Financial Transactions: Handle cash, process payments, send invoices, and follow up on accounts receivable.
- Client Relations: Communicate professionally with hotel guests and residents regarding service updates and vehicle readiness.
- Efficiency: Effectively manage time, equipment, and resources to meet daily deadlines.

Required Skills & Experience

- Detailing Expertise:



Minimum 1 year of professional experience is highly preferred. We are willing to train candidates who demonstrate a superior work ethic and high level of maturity.
- Licensing: Must possess a valid Ontario G License with a clean driving abstract (Required).
- Manual Transmission: Preferably able to comfortably and safely drive manual transmission (standard) vehicles.
- Maturity & Responsibility: Since you will be operating high-value luxury vehicles, a high degree of care and professional maturity is non-negotiable.
- Punctuality: Reliability is a strict requirement. You must arrive on time for all scheduled shifts to maintain hotel service standards.
- Customer Service: A passion for luxury-tier service and strong conflict-resolution skills.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical labour, including bending, lifting, and handling specialized power tools.
