Parts Manager

Location: Ottawa, Ontario

We are seeking an experienced, motivated Parts Manager to join our team at our busy Ford dealership in Ottawa.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced parts professional who understands dealership operations and is comfortable managing a high-volume department with a strong wholesale customer base and heavy-truck parts business.

The Opportunity

Our Parts Department serves a diverse customer base, including retail customers, our Service Department, a large and established wholesale clientele, and heavy-truck customers. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing day-to-day operations while maintaining exceptional service and strong relationships with our customers and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the daily operations of the Parts Department
- Lead, support, and develop Parts Department staff
- Maintain strong relationships with wholesale customers and key accounts
- Manage parts inventory, purchasing, stocking, and returns
- Work closely with the Service and Sales Departments to ensure efficient operations
- Support the needs of our heavy-truck service and parts business
- Monitor department sales, gross profit, expenses, and inventory performance
- Ensure accurate and timely parts sourcing and distribution
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and Ford
- Establish and maintain high standards for customer service, accuracy, and efficiency
- Ensure department policies, procedures,



and safety standards are followed

Qualifications & Experience

- Previous Parts Management experience is required
- Dealership parts experience is strongly preferred
- Experience with wholesale parts operations is highly valued
- Experience with heavy trucks and/or commercial vehicles is an asset
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and dealership parts operations
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Strong customer-service and relationship-building abilities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong computer and inventory-management skills
- Valid driver's license
