AWS Administrator with Terraform

We are looking for an experienced AWS Administrator with strong hands-on experience in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, automating, and supporting AWS cloud infrastructure while ensuring high availability, security, scalability, and performance.

Responsibilities

- Administer, configure, monitor, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Manage AWS services including EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, RDS, Route 53, CloudWatch, ELB/ALB, Auto Scaling, Lambda, and EBS.
- Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
- Develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates.
- Manage Terraform state, variables, workspaces, and remote backends.
- Provision and maintain networking components including VPCs, subnets, route tables, security groups, NAT gateways, and load balancers.
- Implement and maintain IAM roles, policies, permissions, and AWS security best practices.
- Monitor infrastructure availability, performance, capacity, and security using CloudWatch and related monitoring tools.
- Troubleshoot AWS infrastructure, networking, access,



and performance issues.
- Automate routine cloud administration and deployment activities using scripting and Infrastructure as Code.
- Support backup, disaster recovery, patching, and infrastructure maintenance activities.
- Work with DevOps and application teams to support CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments.
- Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and infrastructure standards.

Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS administration and infrastructure support.
- Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, RDS, CloudWatch, Route 53, ELB/ALB, and Auto Scaling.
- Strong understanding of AWS networking, security groups, IAM policies, and cloud security.
- Experience with Linux administration and troubleshooting.
- Scripting experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with Git and version-control practices.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills
- AWS certification such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or SysOps Administrator.
- HashiCorp Terraform certification.
- Experience with Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes/EKS.
- Experience working in enterprise cloud environments and following AWS security and governance best practices.
