Responsibilities

- We are looking to fill a full-time position for Toronto to Ottawa/ Montreal lane
- Safely operate a commercial car carrier to transport vehicles to and from specified destinations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving the truck
- Load and unload vehicles using appropriate equipment
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays
- Communicate with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues that may arise during transportation
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety, transportation, and delivery protocols

Qualifications:
- Valid commercial driver's license (AZ) with a clean CVOR abstract or no more than 2 minor violations in the past 3 years
- 3+ years of verifiable experience in commercial (AZ) driving (1 year car carrier preferred)
- Ability to pass random drug tests

- Pass criminal background check




- Knowledge of truck repair and preventative maintenance procedures is a plus
- Ability to operate manual, 13 speed transmission is a plus (automatic also available)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others in a team environment
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Physical stamina and strength to safely load, secure and unload vehicles as needed
