Back of House Team Members

Location: Silent Ice Sports & Entertainment Centre (3rd floor), Nisku, AB

Job Type: Full-time and part-time positions available

Wage: $17–$22 per hour, based on experience

Start Date: As soon as possible

Summit Restaurant is hiring dependable, motivated people for our back-of-house team. Our kitchen serves athletes, families, tournament guests and large event crowds in a busy sports and entertainment facility.

Availability

Applicants must have open availability, including days, evenings and weekends, and be able to start as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, portion standards and presentation guidelines
- Keep kitchen stations clean, organized and stocked
- Complete food prep before and during service
- Work efficiently during tournaments and events
- Follow food safety, sanitation and workplace safety procedures
- Assist with opening, closing and general kitchen duties
- Communicate shortages, delays and quality concerns promptly

Qualifications

- Previous kitchen experience is preferred




- Dependable, punctual and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Food Safety certification is an asset
- Open availability is required
- Reliable transportation as no public transit is available
