Responsibilities

- Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, and cakes, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation
- Assemble a diverse menu of sandwiches, wraps, and salads with attention to detail and flavor balance
- Decorate cakes and desserts using cake decorating techniques to enhance visual appeal
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace in compliance with food safety standards
- Handle food packaging efficiently for take-out orders while ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed




- Assist in inventory management by monitoring supplies and notifying when ingredients need replenishing
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders accurately, and addressing special requests or dietary needs

Requirements

- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is highly preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, baking, cooking, and food handling safety protocols
- Skills in cake decorating and food presentation are a plus
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations within the food industry environment
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a rapid-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, customer-focused attitude
- Basic knowledge of food safety regulations and proper hygiene practices
- Work on weekend is an asset
