Duties

- Prepare and bake a wide range of bread, rolls, pastries, and baked goods according to established recipes and quality standards
- Ensure all baked items are consistently fresh, visually appealing, and meet safety guidelines
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as mixing doughs, measuring ingredients, and portioning products for baking
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery workspace, adhering to food safety and sanitation regulations
- Package baked goods efficiently for retail display or customer orders while ensuring product integrity




- Support cake decorating and presentation when required to enhance product appeal
- Collaborate with team members to manage baking schedules and meet daily production targets

Skills

- Proven experience in baking or bread making within a bakery or restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards
- Skilled in cake decorating and food presentation techniques
- Excellent food preparation and cooking skills with attention to detail
- Customer service experience to assist customers with product selections when needed
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Familiarity with packaging techniques for baked goods in a fast-paced workplace
