Job Summary

We are looking for someone with experience to assist in making Japanese and Asian style baked goods.

Duties

- Prepare and bake a range of baked goods including cakes, pastries, breads, and buns following established recipes.
- Production for cake items such as strawberry shortcake and tofu cheesecake
- Decorate danish, donuts, buns and pastries using various techniques
- Assist in food preparation tasks like mixing, cooking, portioning, piping and assembling ingredients for choux, tart shells and pastry cream
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery workspace, adhering to food safety standards.
- Support the team during busy periods by managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.




- Follow all food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe working setting.Experience
- Previous experience working in a bakery or pastry kitchen is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is essential.
- Knowledge of food industry standards related to baking, food safety, and handling practices.
- Skills in cake decorating and food presentation are highly desirable.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment used in baking and food preparation.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
