Duties

- Prepare a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems, including Micros POS, accurately handling transactions, cash handling, and cashiering duties.
- Provide friendly, efficient service to all customers, ensuring a positive experience from order to delivery.
- Assist with food preparation and food handling tasks to support the overall operation of the café or restaurant setting.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including food prep areas, dining spaces, and equipment.




- Follow food safety guidelines and proper hygiene procedures to ensure quality and safety standards are met consistently.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while balancing multiple responsibilities.

Qualifications

- Minimum 2 years experience
- Previous barista experience or food service experience is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift light supplies, and work in a fast-paced environment.
