Beauty Esthetician & Relaxation Massage Therapist

Job Overview

Alfa Spa & Wellness is looking for a passionate and experienced Beauty Esthetician & Relaxation Massage Therapist to join our team at our Scarborough location.

This position is primarily focused on professional facial and skincare treatments, while also providing relaxation massage services. We are looking for someone who is confident working with clients, knowledgeable about skincare, and comfortable recommending and selling products, packages, and services.

This is a great opportunity for a motivated beauty qualified who enjoys building relationships with clients and has the potential to increase their earnings through commission on product and package sales.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Perform professional facials and skincare treatments based on individual client needs
- Provide relaxation massage treatments focused on stress relief and overall wellness
- Perform other esthetic services, such as waxing, as needed
- Conduct skincare consultations and recommend appropriate treatments and products
- Educate clients on skincare routines and self-care practices
- Recommend and sell skincare products, treatment packages, and services
- Build strong, professional relationships with clients and encourage repeat visits
- Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming, comfortable client experience
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized treatment area
- Follow proper health, safety, and sanitation procedures
- Stay up to date with skincare products, beauty techniques, and industry trends
- Communicate clearly with clients about treatments, products,



and service options

Requirements
- Proven experience as a Beauty Esthetician
- Must have professional experience providing relaxation massage
- Strong experience performing facials and skincare treatments
- Good knowledge of skincare products and different skin types
- Fluent in English
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable recommending and selling skincare products, packages, and services
- Friendly, professional, reliable, and motivated
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends when required

Assets
- Laser hair removal experience — an asset, but not required
- Previous experience in spa, beauty, wellness

Please note: This position involves relaxation massage services and is not an RMT position. The successful candidate must be comfortable providing relaxation massage but does not need to be a Registered Massage Therapist.

Compensation & Opportunity

- $30/hour commission
