Job Summary

Join our vibrant after school program as a Bilingual After School Program Staff member! In this energetic role, you will create a welcoming and engaging environment for children by providing educational support, fostering social-emotional development, and promoting a love for learning. Your bilingual skills will help bridge communication gaps, ensuring all children feel included and supported.

This position requires daily availability from 2:20pm-5:30pm Monday to Friday in person at Ste Catherine in Pain Court

Responsibilities

- Lead engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote social skills, creativity, and physical activity
- Support room management by maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all children
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members in both languages to ensure clear understanding of daily activities and progress
- Monitor children’s behavior and well-being throughout the program to address any needs promptly




- Maintain accurate attendance records and report any concerns or incidents to supervisors

Requirements

- Bilingual fluency in English and French is essential
- Prior experience working with children is preferred
- Ability to engage children through energetic, positive interactions while maintaining patience and professionalism
- Excellent communication skills to foster collaboration with parents, guardians, and team members
- Reliable attendance and punctuality to ensure consistent program delivery
