About the Role

We are seeking a Bilingual Vehicle Test Engineer to evaluate advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), vehicle infotainment, and connected features in real-world driving conditions. You will conduct structured road tests, identify issues, and provide clear findings that help engineering teams improve the driving experience.

This role is well suited to someone with a strong interest in automotive technology who enjoys hands-on testing and can balance careful observation with safe driving. Experience driving or testing electric vehicles, including Tesla vehicles, is an asset.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct vehicle road tests on assigned city, highway, and rural routes in Ontario and Quebec.
- Evaluate ADAS features, such as adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assistance, parking assistance, and driver alerts, according to approved test procedures.
- Test infotainment and connected features, including navigation, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, voice assistant, and media playback.
- Validate English and French displays, voice commands, prompts, and user interface content, with attention to Canadian French usage.
- Record test conditions, results, and reproducible steps for software defects or unexpected vehicle behaviour.
- Capture supporting evidence, such as photos, videos, screenshots, and system logs, when required.




- Share findings with engineering and project teams and help verify fixes through follow-up testing.
- Follow all traffic laws, vehicle handling requirements, confidentiality rules, and test safety procedures.

Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s licence and a driving record that meets company and client requirements.
- Fluency in spoken and written English and French.
- Ability to drive for extended periods and travel within Ontario and Quebec.
- Robust observation, documentation, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with modern vehicle technology and smartphone connectivity features.
- Ability to follow detailed test procedures and work independently.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in automotive testing, software quality assurance, vehicle validation, or a related engineering field.
- Familiarity with ADAS features and their behaviour in real-world driving conditions.
- Experience driving or testing electric vehicles; Tesla vehicle experience is a plus.
- Experience documenting defects in Jira, Excel, or a similar tool.
- Knowledge of Canadian French localization and terminology.

Working Conditions The role involves extended periods of driving and may include occasional early morning, evening, or weekend testing. Testing may involve pre-production vehicles and confidential technology. All on-road testing must be performed within approved procedures and safe operating conditions.
