EigenQ is hiring an experienced Bookkeeper to support the financial operations of our growing quantum security company. This is an in-person position in Waterloo for someone who takes pride in accurate records, dependable follow-through, and careful handling of confidential information.

What you’ll do a. Maintain accurate financial records and record day-to-day transactions.

b. Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoices, payments, and follow-up.

c. Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other balance sheet accounts.

d. Support payroll administration and maintain related records.

e. Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with month-end and year-end closing.

f. Organize documentation for accountants, auditors, and tax filings.

g. Identify discrepancies and help improve bookkeeping processes.

What we’re looking for a. At least five years of bookkeeping experience.

Solid knowledge of reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial recordkeeping.

c. Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

d. Excellent attention to detail, organization, and discretion.

e. Ability to manage deadlines and communicate clearly with colleagues and external advisers.

Experience supporting a growing technology company or working with multiple business entities is an asset.
