Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to help them select suitable cannabis products based on their preferences and needs
- Educate customers on product effects, consumption methods, dosage guidelines, and legal regulations to promote safe use
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently for cash handling, transactions, and inventory management
- Maintain accurate records of sales, customer interactions, and product inventory using computer skills including Microsoft Office and Excel
- Upsell complementary products and merchandise to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales revenue




- Ensure compliance with all legal requirements related to age verification, product labeling, and security protocols
- Keep the dispensary organized through merchandising, filing, stock replenishment, and cleanliness to create an inviting shopping environment

Qualifications

- Proven experience in retail sales or hospitality environments with excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication skills to effectively educate customers and collaborate with team members
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling inventory or supplies safely and efficiently
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, basic math skills for transactions, and computer operation
- Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising, filing, and time management
- Knowledge of cannabis products/ experience in the cannabis industry.

Pay: From $18.25 per hour

Expected hours: 12.0 – 20.0 per week
