Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Building Engineering Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in the design, development, and maintenance of building systems, ensuring efficiency, sustainability, and compliance with industry standards and regulations. This role involves working closely with engineers, architects, and construction teams to optimize building performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design & Draft prefabricated Floor & Wall panels using SEMA software, including other design tools to create technical drawings ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Determine framing design specifications based on Structural, Architectural, Mechanical drawings
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to develop design solutions.
- Ensuring compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards for multi-family structures & residential projects
- Providing technical support in the design or troubleshooting engineering issues
- Collaborate with production team to optimize panel design
- Ensuring shop drawings, panel production designs meet schedule
- Assisting in project management and cost estimation for new construction projects.
- Maintained and updated drawings and documentation to align with customer revisions and changes.
- Managed and organized multidisciplinary drawing sets across multiple projects, streamlining support for project
- coordinators and enhancing workflow efficiency.
- Assisting with the design, development,



and implementation of the Panel systems.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Diploma or degree in Building Engineering Technology, Architectural Technology, or a related field.
- Knowledge of building codes, construction materials, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software.
- Experience with building inspections and project management is an asset.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Previous experience in construction, facility management, or engineering consulting.
- Knowledge of LEED certification and sustainable building practices.
- Certification as a Building Technologist (CBET) or equivalent is an asset.
- Language proficiency: French or English
