Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Building Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations of multiple residential buildings. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with technical expertise, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to building safety, repairs, and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities:

Maintenance & Operations

- Oversee daily maintenance operations for multiple residential and commercial properties
- Perform and supervise repairs related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general building maintenance, and cleaning
- Implement and manage preventative maintenance schedules
- Conduct regular building inspections and identify repair needs
- Ensure timely response to maintenance requests and emergencies

Supervision & Leadership

- Assign work orders and monitor completion and quality of work
- Provide hands-on support when needed
- Enforce safety procedures and best practices

Vendor & Contractor Management

- Coordinate and supervise external contractors and service providers
- Obtain quotes, monitor performance, and ensure work meets standards and timelines
- Approve completed work and report deficiencies

Compliance & Safety

- Ensure buildings meet all applicable health, safety, and building codes
- Maintain records related to inspections, repairs, and compliance
- Participate in fire safety, emergency preparedness,



and seasonal maintenance planning

Tenant Relations

- Respond professionally to tenant concerns related to maintenance and cleanliness
- Coordinate access for repairs while minimizing disruption
- Maintain a high standard of customer service

Qualifications & Experience:

- Minimum 3–5 years of building maintenance experience, preferably in residential or multi-unit properties
- Strong working knowledge of building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, mechanical)
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between properties
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills

Physical Requirements

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and perform physical tasks as required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 24.0 per week
