The Role

Constellation Data Labs is seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing team. This is a highly outbound-focused role responsible for generating new sales opportunities through a combination of calling prepared prospect lists and cold calling.

The BDR will proactively connect with prospective customers, engage senior decision-makers and C-suite executives, qualify opportunities, and schedule meetings for the sales team. The ideal candidate is a confident communicator who enjoys the challenge of cold calling, can quickly build rapport with senior leaders, and is comfortable creating conversations from scratch.

What You Can Expect to Do

- Conduct high-volume outbound calls to prepared prospect lists and cold prospects to generate new business opportunities.
- Engage with C-suite executives, senior leaders, and key decision-makers to understand their business needs and identify potential opportunities.
- Develop rapport quickly and confidently navigate gatekeepers and other barriers to reaching decision-makers.
- Qualify leads and determine whether prospects are a strong fit for Constellation Data Labs' solutions.
- Schedule qualified meetings and sales calls for Account Executives and other members of the sales team.
- Follow up consistently with prospects through phone, email, and other appropriate outreach channels.
- Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions,



activities, and opportunities within the CRM.
- Work closely with Sales and Marketing to develop effective prospecting strategies and improve lead conversion.
- Develop strong knowledge of the company's products, services, and the real estate and mortgage technology industries.
- Consistently meet or exceed outbound activity, meeting, and pipeline-generation targets.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in a Business Development Representative (BDR), Sales Development Representative (SDR), Inside Sales, or similar outbound sales role.
- Proven experience with cold calling and outbound prospecting.
- Comfortable speaking with C-suite executives, senior leaders, and business decision-makers.
- Strong ability to establish rapport quickly and confidently lead conversations without relying on a script.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Resilient and comfortable handling rejection and high-volume outbound activity.
- Results-driven, self-motivated, and competitive with a strong sense of urgency.
- Robust organizational skills and ability to manage multiple prospects and follow-ups.
- Experience working with a CRM; Salesforce experience is an asset.
- Coachable mindset and willingness to continuously improve sales techniques and performance.
- Experience in real estate, mortgage, fintech, or B2B software is an asset.

Salary Range (Ontario & BC Only):

The estimated base salary range for this role is CAD$60,000.00 - CAD$70,000.00 per year. We include salary ranges in job postings only where required by applicable pay transparency laws, based on the jurisdictions in which the role may be performed. The posted range is a good faith estimate and reflects factors that are subject to change. Final offer amounts may vary based on job-related factors, including work location, candidate experience and expertise, and other relevant considerations.
