Our client is seeking a technically strong and business-minded Business Systems Analyst to join their IT team at their head office. In this role, you will bridge the gap between operations and technology, supporting enterprise applications, analyzing data, and leading system enhancements from requirements gathering through to delivery.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on analyst with a programming and data background who enjoys working directly with the people who use the systems every day. The organization is well into a major digital transformation, having recently implemented a new ERP, warehouse management, and delivery tracking systems, with the next wave of modernization already underway. Key Responsibilities:

- Support enterprise applications: Integrate, enhance, and support enterprise-wide systems including ERP and warehouse management platforms, ensuring they meet the needs of operations and supply chain teams.
- Lead system enhancements: Help plan, coordinate, and implement application enhancements and integrations, managing work packages and delivery timelines.
- Analyze business processes: Conduct thorough business process and systems analysis to identify improvement opportunities and areas for technology investment.
- Translate requirements into solutions: Work directly with business users to understand problems and turn them into clear requirements and working technical solutions.
- Drive data and reporting: Write SQL queries and develop dashboards and reports to track KPIs, performance metrics, and operational trends.
- Recommend technology: Evaluate and recommend systems, tools,



and software that align with organizational goals.
- Provide actionable insights: Deliver data-driven recommendations to business partners that support operational efficiency and strategic decisions.
- Champion change: Act as an ambassador for new technology, supporting adoption and training across teams.

Qualifications

- 5+ years of professional experience in an enterprise IT environment, in roles such as Business Systems Analyst, Application Analyst, Programmer Analyst, or similar.
- A background in programming or software development is required. Starting your career as a developer is considered a strong asset.
- Strong SQL skills are a must, along with experience working with relational databases.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
- Hands-on experience supporting or implementing ERP, WMS, or other enterprise applications.
- A proven track record of translating business problems into requirements and working solutions.
- Experience in a retail, distribution, or supply chain environment is considered a strong asset.
- Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- Demonstrated project management experience, including planning and delivering work packages.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work closely with both technical teams and business users.
- A proactive, detail-oriented approach with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
