Reporting to the Director, Procurement Operations, the incumbent will be primarily responsible for managing purchasing activities, certifications, and follow-up processes to support the needs of the company’s logistics centres and business units. The role focuses on dedicated specialty categories such as consumables and electrical components, rigging equipment, and fall protection equipment.

What you will do

- Receive and process requests from various stakeholders across the organization.
- Forecast and plan short-, medium-, and long-term procurement needs.
- Analyze the performance of assigned product and asset categories.
- Procure project-specific materials for construction sites.
- Create purchase orders and ensure compliance with applicable administrative procedures and controls.
- Obtain the required approvals for purchase orders.
- Identify innovative products and source current suppliers within the assigned region.
- Monitor stock shortages, reconcile delivery slips with purchase orders, and support invoice approval activities.
- Request and evaluate supplier quotations.
- Coordinate the transportation of materials when required.
- Collaborate with Strategic Sourcing Specialists to optimize corporate agreements and supplier partnerships.
- Consolidate purchasing activities to maximize buying power and support the development of annual supply agreements.
- Ensure compliance with established ISO procedures and standards.





This role could be for you if you have
- More than 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain activities.
- Strong knowledge of the construction materials industry.
- Knowledge of temporary electrical systems within a construction project environment is considered a significant asset.
- Knowledge of fall protection equipment and lifting/rigging equipment is also considered an asset.
- Bilingualism (French and English).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A high level of autonomy and the ability to manage urgent priorities effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proven ability to take on challenges.
