Blue Valley Cabinets Canada Ltd. supplies and installs cabinetry, vanities, closets, countertops, and architectural millwork for residential and commercial projects. We’re looking for an estimator who can turn drawings and specifications into clear, accurate, and competitive bids.

Responsibilities

- Review architectural drawings, millwork details, specifications, addenda, and tender documents.
- Complete quantity take-offs for cabinetry, closets, vanities, countertops, and architectural millwork.
- Estimate materials, fabrication, installation, delivery, and subcontractor costs.
- Prepare itemized quotations with transparent scope, assumptions, exclusions, and separate prices where required.
- Identify missing details and submit questions to general contractors, designers, and suppliers.
- Update estimates as drawings, specifications, or project requirements change.
- Coordinate with sales, production, and installation teams to confirm pricing and schedules.




- Manage multiple bids and meet submission deadlines.

Qualifications

- Experience estimating cabinetry or architectural millwork from construction drawings.
- Strong quantity take-off skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to price both standard cabinet units and custom millwork.
- Proficiency with Excel and PDF drawing review tools.
- Experience with 2020 Design, AutoCAD, or similar cabinetry design software is an asset.
- Clear written communication and the ability to explain pricing assumptions.
- Experience with multi-family residential or commercial construction is an asset.

Compensation: Base salary plus a performance-based bonus. Salary and bonus details will be discussed during the interview process.

This is an on-site position at our Burnaby facility.
