As an intern, you’ll work alongside our experienced practitioners and with our clients and communities. This hands-on experience will equip you with practical skills, build your network, and provide opportunities that set you up for success.

Your Opportunity An opportunity exists for a Student to join our Water Team for a 10 -12-month term (October 2026 to August 2027) in Red Deer. You will work with close guidance and supervision on tasks for large and small projects in a team environment on a variety of water projects including water and wastewater plants, site grading, pump stations, water supply, distribution, etc.

Your Key Responsibilities

- Uses knowledge of tools and drafting to complete assigned tasks including completing design changes, general arrangement drawing production, redlining, plotting, and drafting using CAD platforms noted below.
- Will work closely with engineers and designers on assigned projects.
- Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

- Strong interpersonal, verbal,



and written communication skills.
- Energetic, with a keen interest in learning about engineering workflows.
- Ability to prioritize and take direction from the team.

Education and Experience

- Completion of High School CAD training.
- Completion of High School Diploma.

Typical office setting working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
