We’re hiring: Camera Assistant – Calgary, AB

We’re looking for a reliable and friendly Camera Assistant to help film short street-style interviews for social media.

This is a casual, ad-hoc role, with filming sessions scheduled as needed. Each session will typically be approximately 3–4 hours.

What you’ll do:

- Film short interviews using provided equipment
- Ensure subjects are properly framed and in focus
- Follow basic filming direction
- Capture additional footage when needed
- Move between nearby filming locations during sessions

Ideal candidate:

- Currently resides in Calgary, AB
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable filming in public spaces
- Friendly and easy to work with
- Familiar with basic phone/camera filming
- Interested in content creation or social media

Location: Calgary, AB

Pay: $15/hour

Schedule: Casual/ad hoc — hours are not regular or guaranteed
