Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a passion for construction, with experience in various carpentry tasks. This role involves working on diverse projects, including roof restoration, installation of fixtures, and general labor tasks. A commitment to quality workmanship and safety is essential.

Duties

- Perform carpentry tasks including framing, roofing, and installation of structures and fixtures.
- Restore and repair existing structures to maintain integrity and aesthetics.
- Lay tile in various settings, ensuring proper alignment and adherence.
- Use power tools effectively and safely to complete tasks efficiently.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements.
- Participate in construction estimating to assist in project planning.

Qualifications





- Proven experience as a carpenter or laborer in the construction field.
- Knowledge of caulking methods and materials is an asset.
- Proficiency in tile laying with attention to detail is desirable.
- Strong skills in using power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to read schematics and blueprints accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.

- Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:
- carpentry: 1 year (preferred)
