Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Cashier/Sales Assistant to join our liquor retail team! Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases, answering questions about products and services
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process cash, credit, and digital payments while handling cash with precision
- Conduct product demos when applicable to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement and upselling opportunities
- Maintain organized merchandising displays to attract customer attention and optimize sales potential
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive shopping experience
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple customers efficiently without compromising quality




- Uphold phone etiquette standards when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries

Qualifications
- Previous retail sales or cashiering experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and giving correct change
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and merchandising principles
- Excellent organizational skills to keep work areas tidy and stock levels maintained
- Customer service orientation with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating positive time management skills
- Knowledge of technology sales or technical product demos is advantageous but not mandatory
