Creative Kids Education Centre (CKEC) offers toddler, preschool and school age programs with a multi-level, multi-age, hands-on, play-based approach. The setting, activities, programs and interactions are a whole that shape the classroom community. CKEC has a large natural outdoor play space with two preschool play areas.

The successful candidate will be open to flexible work hours and have a passion for working with children of all ages.

Salary - pay range is based on a Classification 1, 2, School Age, or 3. Candidates without a valid classification are welcome to apply however will not fall on this wage scale.

Experience is an asset.

Criminal Record check with Vulnerable Sector included, Child Abuse Registry and First Aid with CPR "C" are required.

Supply educators support our educators to implement programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, social and creative development of children. Knowledge of the Day Care Act, licensing regulations is an asset. Being responsive to individual abilities, interests and needs of children and collaborating with co-workers and parents is essential. Assist in the maintenance of an environment that engages, protects the health, security and well-being of children.

Supply Educators facilitate learning, discovery and development through purposeful management of the program and environment.

The centre is located in an area that is not accessible by public transportation.

Pay: $25.61-$32.19 per hour
