Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Caterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service and a flair for creating memorable catering experiences. As a Catering Cook 1, you will be responsible for preparing and serving delicious meals from our commissary , ensuring that all food safety standards are met while delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to event specifications and dietary requirements.
- Set up and break down catering stations, ensuring cleanliness and organization throughout the event.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a qualified manner, providing excellent customer service at all times.
- Handle food safely and in compliance with health regulations, maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen and serving areas.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate meal preparation and service logistics for events.
- Assist in menu planning and meal preparation based on client preferences and seasonal ingredients.
- Maintain inventory of food supplies, ensuring that all necessary items are stocked for upcoming events.




- Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas after use to uphold hygiene standards.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in the food industry, particularly in catering or restaurant settings.
- Strong skills in cooking, meal preparation, and food handling techniques.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy events while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
