Job Summary

We are seeking a Licensed Dental Assistant to join our vibrant dental team! Current licensure with BCCOHP is required.

Responsibilities

- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure all dental tools are ready for procedures
- Assist the dentist during examinations, cleanings, restorative treatment, surgeries and other dental treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
- Manage patient records accurately using dental practice management software
- Handle administrative duties including scheduling appointments and greeting patients as a friendly dental receptionist
- Support pediatric patients with gentle care and effective communication during their visits
- Maintain a clean, organized,



and sterile environment adhering to infection control standards

Skills

- Certified Dental Assistant with valid BCCOHP licensure
- Solid dental assisting techniques, including taking X-rays and preparing materials for treatments
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients of all ages and backgrounds
