Position Overview The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key executive leader responsible for the financial stewardship, strategic planning, governance support, and long-term sustainability of Grey Eagle Resort & Casino (GERC). Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the CFO serves as the principal financial advisor to the Board and Executive Leadership Team, providing leadership across financial operations, capital investment planning, enterprise risk management, business growth initiatives, and stakeholder relations.

The CFO plays a critical role in supporting the Board's vision for sustainable economic growth while protecting and enhancing the assets of Grey Eagle Resort & Casino for future generations of the Tsuut'ina Nation. The role oversees all financial functions and provides executive leadership for major capital projects, resort renovations,



business development initiatives, financing strategies, and governance matters affecting the organization. As one of the most senior leaders within GERC, the CFO must balance strategic thinking, operational understanding, financial discipline, and relationship-building with a diverse group of stakeholders including the Board of Directors, Tsuut'ina Nation leadership, regulators, financial institutions, development partners, and operational leaders.

Education And Experience

CPA designation.

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related discipline.

Minimum 10 years progressive financial leadership experience.

Minimum 5 years in a senior executive role.

Experience in hospitality, gaming, resort, entertainment, tourism, real estate development, or similarly complex operations.

Experience reporting directly to a Board of Directors.

Experience leading major capital projects exceeding $10M.

Demonstrated success managing banking and financing relationships.

Preferred

MBA or Master's Degree.

Experience working with Indigenous-owned
