We are an expanding child care center preparing to open our new space, and we are looking for dedicated, energetic Child Care Assistants and Educators to join our classroom team!

In this role, you will work directly with children in the classroom, supporting daily routines, play-based learning, outdoor supervision, and individual development.

We welcome applicants with Early Childhood Assistant (ECA) training, relevant childcare experience, or Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) designation.

Key Responsibilities: Provide direct care, supervision, and active engagement for children in the classroom and playground.

Assist in implementing play-based activities that foster social, emotional, and physical development.

Support daily classroom routines, including drop-offs/pick-ups, snack/meal times, rest periods, and diapering/washroom routines.

Help maintain a clean, organized, safe, and sanitised classroom workplace.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Experience working directly with young children in a licensed child care center, home daycare, or educational setting.

Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC): Clear police record check issued within the last 6 months (or willing to obtain prior to start date).

First Aid: Current Standard First Aid & CPR Level C certification (or scheduled prior to start date).

Health Requirements:



Up-to-date immunizations and TB test clearance as required by Public Health.

High school diploma required (ECA certificate, Child & Youth Worker diploma, or RECE registration is a strong asset).

Physical ability to active engage with children (bending, lifting, sitting on the floor, and outdoor supervision in various weather).

Build positive, respectful relationships with children, families, and team members.

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
