Main Areas of Responsibility

· Primary contributions will be to program plan, implement, and evaluate social recreational programs for school-aged children.

· Ensure that childcare licensing regulations are followed.

Qualifications

· Post-secondary education relating to area of work; such as Education, Child & Youth Care, Social Work or Psychology.

· Experience planning recreational activities for large groups of youth

· Ability to work independently and in a team setting

· Current First Aid Certificate

· Current Food Safe Certificate

· Responsible adult certification as per Community Care Facilities and Licensing regulations.

· Class IV driver’s license or willing to obtain

Hours of Work: Monday – Friday varying schedule between 1:30pm-6:45pm

Locations: 320 North 2nd ave (Skyline), 709 Lyne Rd (Chicoltin Road Elementary), and 17 South 4th Ave (Main Club)

Condition of Employment:

· The successful candidate must complete and successfully pass a Criminal Record Check.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $21.00 per hour
