Let it snow! We’re Scandinavian-Canadians and winter is what we do best! We’re looking for Christmas Help to join us in adding a little holiday sparkle to the season. Join us and you’ll be supporting a historical local company with over 45 years of business in Calgary.

We’ve got amazing food made in-house, delicious European imports, super friendly staff and some seriously quirky Christmas traditions.

If you’re a cheerful, hard-working person that loves learning about new cultures and new cuisine, we’d love to hear from you!

Position starts immediately and continues until the end of January. Work days start with Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday but grow to 5 days a week as we get closer to Christmas. This role also has the strong potential to become a permanent part-time position for 3 days a week after January.

Responsibilities include and are not limited to:

· Friendly knowledgeable service, educating and assisting customers





· Preparing food orders for customers

· Processing payment transactions

· Stocking shelves, pricing items, keeping inventory

· Maintaining a clean shop and tidy work environment

Mandatory Skills

· Outgoing personality with excellent communication and sales skills

· Passion for food and cooking

· Ability to lift heavy products and boxes up to 50 lbs

· Ability to stand on feet for busy 8-hour shift

Scandinavian heritage or fluency is an asset, as is previous travel to the Scandinavian countries.

Contract length: 4 months

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
