Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Childcare Worker to join our agile team! In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a nurturing, engaging environment for young children, including those with diverse needs. You will support children’s development through playful interactions, assist with daily activities, and collaborate closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure each child's success.

Responsibilities

- Engage children in developmentally appropriate activities that promote socialization, play, and learning.
- Support children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities, by implementing individualized care strategies.
- Assist in supervising daily routines such as snack time, outdoor play, and rest periods to ensure safety and well-being.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other team members to support each child's developmental goals.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment by following health and safety protocols diligently.




- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about children's progress and daily experiences.
- Contribute to creating an inclusive, positive atmosphere that encourages exploration and growth.

Qualifications

- Level 1 or Level 2 Childcare Licensing.
- Prior classroom experience working with young children or in early childhood education settings.
- Experience working with children who have disabilities or special needs is highly desirable.
- Strong caregiving skills combined with the ability to foster trust and comfort among children.
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and teaching strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, families, and colleagues.

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
